Miltrade Technologies Pte Ltd was founded in 1993 as a sales agency company representing international contractors in selling their solutions to the local defence customer. At the turn of the decade, Miltrade increased its value-add to its principals by providing turn-key solutions to our customers directly thereby further strengthening our principals' presence in the region.
In 2001, Miltrade established Blue Sea Services Pte Ltd as its after-sales engineering arm to perform life cycle support as well as product customizations for the defence customer in the marine and undersea segments.
In 2002, Miltrade acquired APAC Aero Dynamics Pte Ltd to diversify into the commercial aerospace MRO and aviation components supply market.
In 2003, Miltrade set up a department within the company to perform repair and overhaul of aircraft flat panel displays up to component level (depot level), for the military aviation market.
In 2005, Miltrade set up MTech Imaging Pte Ltd specializing in the design and development of thermal imagers using thermal detector technology in the 8 to 14 microns wavelength for both the defense/security and medical markets.
In 2008, Miltrade acquired its own building located at Changi North industrial park and moved all its operating units into one central location.
2010 will see the group streamlined into three companies consisting of Miltrade Technologies Pte Ltd, Blue Sea Services Pte Ltd and MTech Imaging Pte Ltd. APAC will be merged into Miltrade as a business cluster within Miltrade.
