Miltrade Announces Senior Leadership Changes
Miltrade Technologies Pte Ltd announces senior leadership changes.
- Baljit Singh – assumes the role of Chairman of the Board
- Richard Yong – assumes the role of CEO/CFO
- Wellman Wan – assumes the role of President/COO
Mr Baljit Singh, founder of Miltrade Technologies, said during its annual sales meeting that these changes are part of the ongoing efforts to build a leadership team for the future of Miltrade, and leadership succession planning has been in the works for the last 2 years.
Mr Singh also shared that both himself and new CEO/CFO Mr Richard Yong, will focus on accelerating strategic development of the company, and identifying long term business opportunities. Mr Yong will also lead the overseeing of financial performance, growth objectives, and future fiscal trajectory.
Mr Wellman Wan, in his new role as President/COO, will lead and oversee all of the company’s business and technology operations and execution. Mr Wan’s leadership in building MROS over the past decade and executing strategies has been critical to Miltrade becoming a faster, more resilient and more sustainable business. In addition, Mr Wan will focus on accelerating operational performance improvement, aligning synergies across divisions, service product development to prepare for the long term growth of the company.
Mr Singh expressed his optimism that these changes will further strengthen the management capacity, and prepare the company for continued success.
The changes will take effect from January, 10th 2022.
